Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 2026 • Confia Agency
This Cookie Policy explains how Confia Software, trading as Confia Agency (“Confia”, “we” or “us”), uses cookies and similar technologies on www.confia.agency. Please read it together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your device when you visit. They help the site work, remember your choices, and understand how it’s used. Similar technologies, such as tracking pixels and tags, work in a comparable way. In this policy, we call all of them “cookies”.
- First-party cookies: are set by our website.
- Third-party cookies: are set by other companies whose tools we use, such as LinkedIn or Google.
- Session cookies: are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies stay until they expire or you delete them.
2. How we use cookies
We group cookies into three categories. Only strictly necessary cookies are used automatically. We only use analytics and marketing cookies if you agree, and you can change your mind at any time.
| Category | What it does | Your choice |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Makes the website work securely and remembers your cookie choices | Always on, because the site can’t work properly without them |
| Analytics | Helps us understand how visitors use our website, so we can improve it | Off until you agree |
| Marketing | Helps us measure our advertising, and show our ads to people who visited our site | Off until you agree |
3. Cookies we use
Strictly necessary
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| [Consent cookie name, set by the consent tool] | Confia (first party) | Remembers your cookie choices so we don’t ask again on every page | [Duration, usually 12 months] |
| wordpress_test_cookie, wordpress_logged_in_* | Confia (first party) | Used only when site administrators log in | Session |
Analytics (only if you agree)
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes one visitor from another | 2 years |
| _ga_ | Google Analytics | Keeps track of your session | 2 years |
Marketing (only if you agree)
These cookies are set by the LinkedIn Insight Tag, which lets us measure the results of our LinkedIn ads, understand the professional profile of our visitors in aggregate, and show ads to people who’ve visited our site. LinkedIn doesn’t share your identity with us.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| li_fat_id | Identifies LinkedIn members indirectly for conversion tracking and retargeting | 30 days | |
| li_sugr | Helps LinkedIn estimate a visitor’s identity outside certain countries | 90 days | |
| bcookie | Browser identifier | 1 year | |
| lidc | Routes requests to the right LinkedIn data centre | 24 hours | |
| UserMatchHistory | Syncs LinkedIn Ads IDs | 30 days | |
| AnalyticsSyncHistory | Stores when LinkedIn last synced analytics data | 30 days | |
| li_adsid | A first-party identifier that supports conversion tracking | Set by LinkedIn |
Durations are those published by Google and LinkedIn at the time of writing. They can change. For the latest details, see LinkedIn’s Cookie Policy and Google’s cookie information.
4. Other third-party services
- Google Fonts: Our website uses fonts from Google Fonts. When fonts load from Google’s servers, your browser shares your IP address with Google. This doesn’t set cookies.
- WhatsApp and LinkedIn links: Our site links to WhatsApp and LinkedIn. These links don’t set cookies on our site, but if you click them, those services’ own cookie and privacy policies apply.
5. How to manage your cookie choices
- On our website: Click Cookie Settings in the footer of any page to change your choices at any time.
- In your browser: Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. If you block all cookies, some parts of our website may not work properly.
- On LinkedIn: You can control how LinkedIn uses data for ads in your LinkedIn advertising settings.
- Google Analytics: You can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Withdrawing your consent stops new analytics and marketing cookies from being used. It doesn’t affect anything that happened before you withdrew.
6. Changes to this policy
We’ll update this policy when we change the cookies we use. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
7. Contact us
